My Cadillac Rewards Card Review
The My Cadillac Rewards Card is an auto rewards credit card from Marcus by Goldman Sachs and General Motors. This credit card is ideal if you are planning on purchasing a new Cadillac sedan or SUV, or if already own one and prefer to get your parts and servicing directly from a dealership. The card also features no foreign transaction fees and no annual fee.
0% Intro APR on Purchases
The Cadillac Rewards card provides a twelve-month, 0% introductory annual percentage rate on purchases, followed by a variable APR. This rate is very competitive when compared to other similarly positioned rewards cards.
Special Bonus Points Offer
Judging value with auto rewards credit cards can be tricky, but this card does offer some. New My Cadillac Rewards Cardholders are eligible to earn a 15,000-point welcome bonus after using their new card to make at least $1,000 in purchases within 90 days of opening an account. Still, 15,000 points provide roughly the equivalent of 15% cash back, so it offers you some solid value.
You can also earn a $100 statement credit each calendar year after spending $1,500 on fuel with the card. Or, if you have an electric vehicle, you can opt for a $100 statement credit when you use the My Cadillac Rewards Card to pay 6 electrical bills in a calendar year.
Cardholders also receive a $50 allowance after using their Cadillac Rewards Mastercard for vehicle detailing at a participating GM dealer every calendar year.
Earn Up to 7X Total Points on Purchases
The My Cadillac Rewards Mastercard offers up to 7X total points per $1 spent on GM purchases, including service, parts, and accessories purchased at participating General Motors dealerships and service centers. That 7X point tally is impressive and provides excellent value if you are planning on buying a new GM vehicle purchase or lease one of their cars.
The Cadillac credit card also earns 4X points per $1 on eligible purchases outside of General Motors brands, and there is no limit to how much you can earn – or redeem – toward an eligible, new GM vehicle.

Should You Apply for the My GM Rewards World Elite Mastercard?
Although the 7X total points per dollar can turn heads, is the My Cadillac Rewards Card worth the hype? The answer may be a strong yes if you are a loyal GM customer. GM enthusiasts can benefit from the card’s high rewards-earning rate and GM-focused redemption options. However, non-GM fans (or even those merely considering a GMC, Cadillac, Buick, or other GM-branded vehicle) might find the card thin on potential.
