SKYPASS Credit Cards from Korean Air Get a Facelift

U.S. Bank has made recent changes to its SKYPASS Visa® credit card program. The popular credit cards from Korean Air received a fresh coat of paint, additional ways to earn miles, Korean Air discounts, and more. Here’s what you need to know about the updated Korean Air credit card portfolio from U.S. Bank.

Major Changes to Korean Air SKYPASS Credit Cards

Banking giant U.S. Bank has long enjoyed its relationship with Korean Air and its loyalty program, SKYPASS. The decades-old partnership crossed another milestone this week by announcing a refresh for the SKYPASS Visa® airline credit card lineup.

Announced in a press release on the 25th of July, The enhanced SKYPASS Visa® program will include additional ways to earn miles, such as more rewards on purchases for dining, rideshare and streaming services, cell phones, and office supplies. Additionally, to expand the value and make rewards even more immediate, cardholders for three of the SKYPASS Visa® cards will receive Korean Air ticket discounts for themselves and a companion.

The business credit card, the SKYPASS Visa Signature® Business Card, also received a facelift. The updated SMB card earns 2X miles per dollar on Korean Air ticket purchases, gas and EV charging stations, office supplies, cell phone plans, and dining – including takeout and delivery. All other purchases will earn 1X miles per dollar. Additionally, cardholders receive 2 KAL Lounge coupons each year, 5% off Korean Air tickets each year, and there are no foreign transaction fees for those shopping internationally.
