Chase and Southwest Launch Teach the Love Contest

Southwest® Rapid Rewards® Credit Cards from Chase has launched a new contest to show praise to deserving educators. The Teach the Love contest will send three winning teachers on learning-fueled Edu-Vacation trips, celebrating their teaching specialties or personal interests.

The contest will be championed by celebrity spokesperson Derek Hough, who’s shown support for education through his philanthropic commitments and his longtime run as an instructor on Dancing with the Stars (not to mention his role as a drama teacher on High School Musical: The Musical: The Series!).

Nominations will be accepted today through November 9, 2022, on the contest website. Current and former students 18+, parents, and fellow teachers are invited to nominate a standout educator for a chance to win a one-of-a-kind Edu-Vacations.

Prizes

Three grand prize winners can select from five education-inspiring destinations and have their hotels, flights, and experiences fully covered in one of the following learning-fueled hot spots:

  • Kahului (Maui), Hawaii, for marine biology fans
  • Chicago, Ill., for fine arts and architecture lovers
  • Washington, DC, for American History buffs
  • Palm Springs, Calif., for geology fanatics
  • Nashville, Tenn., for music connoisseurs

Seven runners-up will also be chosen to receive 30,000 Southwest Rapid Rewards points for use towards their own Edu-Vacations.

Additional, Limited-Time Chase Offer for Marriott Bonvoy Boundless

Chase and Marriott are offering a special, limited-time-only welcome bonus on the Marriott Bonvoy Boundless® Credit Card. Eligible new accounts can earn 100,000 welcome bonus points after spending $3,000 in the first three months from account opening. This new welcome offer runs until October 27, 2022.

The upcoming holiday season makes this welcome bonus especially tantalizing for travelers. The Marriott Bonvoy Boundless earns 3X points per $1 on gas stations, grocery stores, and dining, on the first $6,000 spent in combined purchases each year. One hundred thousand points is a mighty haul, but so are the points on offer with regular spending with the Boundless Card. And, since many holiday journeys involve road trips, the Boundless is an ideal companion for gas, dining, and last-minute holiday purchases.
