Barclays and Wyndham are expanding their relationship with three new co-branded hotel credit cards. These three new cards, including a business credit card and two personal cards, replace the old Wyndham Rewards Visa Card. Here is what you need to know about the new Wyndham Rewards credit cards from Barclays.

New Wyndham Personal Credit Cards

The launch of new Wyndham Rewards credit cards includes two new personal cards: the Wyndham Rewards Earner and the Wyndham Rewards Earner Plus.

Wyndham Rewards Earner Visa Card

The Wyndham Rewards Earner Visa Card is a no-annual-fee hotel card that entitles the cardholder to complimentary Gold elite status in the Wyndham Rewards loyalty program. The card comes with an enticing bonus offer of 30,000 bonus points after spending $1,000 within the first 90 days of opening an account.

Given the current valuation of Wyndham Rewards points ($0.011 /pt.), this signup bonus has a potential value of $330. There is also an annual bonus of 7,500 points after spending $15,000 on purchases in a calendar year.

The Earner Card is an excellent option for those who value Wyndham points and want to earn them with purchases on their travels as well as on their daily commute. The card earns 5X points on both gas and Wyndham Hotels purchases; 2X points on dining and groceries; and 1X points on all other purchases.

Other features of the Earner Card from Wyndham and Barclays include:

  • 0% intro APR for 15 months on balance transfers made within the first 45 days of opening an account
  • No foreign transaction fees
  • Visa Zero Fraud Liability protection
  • Wyndham go free awards

Wyndham Rewards Earner Plus Visa Card

The Wyndham Rewards Earner Plus Visa Card is the premium version in the new Earner line, with an annual fee of $75. The card features automatic Wyndham Rewards Platinum status, which provides early check-in, late check-out, preferred room choice, and more.

Platinum also provides a 1:1 membership match in the Caesars Rewards loyalty program, making it an enticing option for those who frequent Caesars Entertainment and Resorts.

Like the no-annual-fee Earner, the Earner Plus accumulates accelerated points on hotels, gas, groceries, and dining. Namely, the card earns 6X points on hotels and gas, 4X on dining and groceries, and 1X on everything else.

The Wyndham Earner Plus also comes with two big bonuses: one for new accounts after meeting a spending minimum and an anniversary bonus. The signup bonus is 45,000 points after spending $1,000 in the first 90 days, while the annual bonus is 7,500 points every year. The signup bonus is worth approximately $495, while the annual bonus has a cash equivalent of roughly $83.

Other features of the Earner Plus Card include:

  • 0% intro APR for 15 months on balance transfers made within the first 45 days of opening an account
  • No foreign transaction fees
  • Visa Zero Fraud Liability protection
  • Wyndham go free awards

New Wyndham Rewards Business Credit Card

Barclays and Wyndham also have a new business credit card – a first for the program. The new Wyndham Rewards Earner Business Card is ideal for small companies that send their employees on trips for work – and want to earn impressive rewards towards significant savings. Sole proprietors who find themselves traveling frequently for business needs will likely also benefit from this card.

The card, which features a $95 annual fee, earns a huge 8X points on Wyndham hotel stays and gas purchases; 5X points on marketing, advertising, utilities, and the typical 1X on everything else.

The Earner Business comes with the same introductory bonus as the Earner Plus personal card – 45,000 points after spending $1,000 in the first 90 days – plus an impressive 15,000 bonus points on every card account anniversary.

The most appealing feature with the Wyndham Rewards Earner Business Card, however, is complimentary Diamond elite status in the Wyndham Rewards program. Diamond status is the top tier in the program, offering suite upgrades, welcome amenities at check-in, and complimentary Gold status for a friend or family member.

Other features of the Earner Business Card include:

  • No foreign transaction fees
  • Visa Zero Fraud Liability protection
  • Wyndham go free awards
