Who Can Join PEFCU?
Membership with PEFCU is open to select individuals and their families. According to the credit union, the following are eligible for membership:
- Current and retired Publix associates and their family or household members
- Lone Palm associates and their family members
- Bartow Ford associates and their family members
- City of Lakeland associates and their family members
- Lakeland Automall associates and their family members
- Larry Greenwald Insurance associates and their family members
- Regal Automotive associates of Lakeland, FL, and their family members
- United Hoist Equipment, Inc. associates and their family members
- Wilde Honda associates, Sarasota, FL, and their family members
- Family or household members of current PEFU members
Becoming a member of Publix FCU requires opening a Prime Share Account (savings account) with a deposit of at least $5. New members must also maintain an average daily balance of $50 In that account for six months. After six months, anytime the account balance drops below $50, a $2 monthly fee is charged.
