MGM Rewards Celebrates Launch with MGM Rewards Mastercard $250 Bonus

MGM Resorts celebrates its MGM Rewards launch with a new limited-time offer through the MGM Rewards Mastercard. Dubbed the card’s “Best.Offer.Ever.”, new cardmembers will receive $250 (awarded as 25,000 bonus points) after spending $5,000 in the first six months after opening an account. This special promotion runs through April 7, 2022.

About the MGM Rewards Mastercard

The MGM Rewards Mastercard (formerly known as the M life® Rewards Mastercard®) grants cardholders the opportunity to earn points and tier credits on all their card purchases. Cardholders earn up to 3X points and tier credits per $1 spent at MGM Rewards Destinations, gas stations, supermarkets, and on all other purchases.

The benefits don’t end there. MGM Rewards Mastercard cardholders also get bumped up to Pearl Level Benefits. The MGM Rewards Pearl is MGM Resorts’ second elite level of membership. This tier includes elevated perks such as complimentary self-parking at participating MGM Rewards Destinations (subject to availability) and complimentary tickets to select exclusive MGM Rewards concerts in Las Vegas, plus so much more.

MGM Resorts Reinvented Rewards Program

MGM reinvented its M-Life Rewards program and changed its name to MGM Rewards in February 2022. Likewise, the rewards for all other loyalty program tiers have been “reimagined.” The five levels of the MGM Rewards program include Sapphire, Pearl, Gold, Platinum, and Noir status – all of which offer new and exclusive benefits. Some of the impressive perks are:

  • Discounts to select shows, subject to availability (Sapphire)
  • Invitations to member-only events, tournaments, or promotions (Pearl)
  • Resort fees waived (Gold)
  • Complimentary enhanced room upgrades at check-in, based on availability (Gold)
  • Travel credits (Platinum)
  • Dining experience for qualifying members (Platinum)
  • VIP Lounge access (Noir)

These are just a few among the many benefits offered for each MGM Rewards status. As members reach higher statuses, the previous tier benefits follow along, growing the list of perks through each level.

How To Earn MGM Rewards

The new ways to earn are no longer limited to gaming. MGM Rewards members can now earn points on both gaming and non-gaming activities. Such activities include hotel stays, table games, dining, slots, etc. Creating additional ways to earn points outside of games will help stack up points when not at the casino.
