Aeroplan, the loyalty program of Air Canada, has a new, cross-border promotion for Aeroplan credit cardholders. Effective September 13, 2023, all Aeroplan credit cards get you even more value when booking your vacation, thanks to a new fourth night free benefit through HotelSavers.

Aeroplan Launches New Fourth Night Free Promotion

Aeroplan credit cardholders can take advantage of HotelSavers’ new promotion and chose from hundreds of thousands of stays and destinations, with prices and locations to match any budget. The HotelSavers program includes over 7,000 points hotels worldwide, including 39 hotel brands across 11 chains and with some of the world’s most coveted hotels and unique properties. There are no caps on the number of fourth night free stays you can book, nor are there any blackout dates.

Even better, cardholders can stack free nights when they book more with points, and those booking a four-night consecutive stay will only need to redeem Aeroplan points for three nights. Credit cardholders need only redeem Aeroplan points for an eight-night consecutive stay for six nights. Aeroplan’s Fourth Night Free offer calculates savings based on the average points cost of all four nights for maximum value.

Cross-Border Promotion

This newest benefit allows Aeroplan become the first airline rewards loyalty program credit card to offer an unlimited Fourth Night Free offer to credit cardholders in Canada and the United States, making it one of the premier frequent flyer programs for more than just flights.

Air Canada issues several co-branded credit cards in Canada and the United States. For the Canadian market, there is the American Express Aeroplan Reserve Card, plus three consumer cards from TD Bank: the TD® Aeroplan® Visa Platinum, TD® Aeroplan® Visa Infinite, and the TD® Aeroplan® Visa Infinite Privileges Cards. There is only one offer for the American market – the Aeroplan® Credit Card, which is issued by Chase.

“Best-in-Class Hotel Rewards”

Aeroplan members have reportedly saved on more than 140,000 nights booked with points since the launch of HotelSavers. This new offer allows credit cardholders to multiply their points savings by up to 30% when booking at more than 300,000 hotels, including HotelSavers properties.

“When we launched HotelSavers last year, we set out to build a best-in-class hotel rewards lineup to match our best-in-class flight rewards,” said Scott O’Leary, Vice President of Loyalty and Product at Air Canada. “With this unlimited Fourth Night Free offer, our members can now stay longer with their Aeroplan points, taking their travel budgets even further.”
