Bethpage Federal Credit Union is the largest credit union in the State of New York, with its headquarters in Bethpage, Long Island.  Bethpage is not only the largest credit union in New York State but one of the largest credit unions in the United States. As of 2019, Bethpage FCU is the 16^th largest credit union in the nation, with over $9 billion in assets.

The history of Bethpage FCU dates to 1941 and the Grumman Aircraft Engineering Corporation. Grumman Hanger 2 Credit Union was opened for Grumman employees in 1941 in Farmingdale, Long Island, New York. Grumman moved its headquarters to Bethpage in 1994, with the credit union altering its name to the current Bethpage Federal Credit Union.

Bethpage FCU prides itself on its community involvement, sponsoring the local Bethpage Air Show, the Suffolk County Sports Park in Central Islip, and the football stadium of Long Island University.

The credit union offers a full slate of banking and loan products and services for its members, who number approximately 406,000 as of 2020.
