In-Depth Review: Revenued Business Card

The Revenued Business Card is a business card and Flex Line combination. Revenued’s revolutionary small business scoring system looks beyond personal credit. Instead, it looks at revenue to offer companies much more than their current personal credit card or business card. Revenued believes all businesses should have access to capital, no matter their credit score.

Benefits of Business Credit

Many small businesses rely on checking accounts to handle their day-to-day expenses. While these practices are “dollar-wise,” they can lead to significant issues. Issues related to a lack of business credit include the inability to invest in your company, bottlenecks in production, and more.

Here are some of the best reasons to consider a business credit card:

Bigger sign-up bonuses Many business credit cards come with more significant signup bonuses than personal credit cards. Some of the best business cards offer bonuses of 100,000 points or more after meeting a minimum spending requirement.
Unique spending categories Business credit cards occasionally earn bonus points or miles for purchases in categories that personal cards don’t offer. Common bonus categories for business cards include office supplies, internet and telecommunications, advertising, shipping, and more. These categories may align better with your spending habits than other personal bonus categories.
Higher credit limits Most small business credit cards come with substantially higher limits than personal cards. According to Experian, the average credit limit for a personal card is about $30,000; for a small business credit card; however, the average credit limit is $56,000.
Expense and spend management tools Business cards come with a variety of business monitoring tools. These can help streamline your finances, track purchases, and even assist in writing off spending as a business expense.
Travel benefits Some business cards do not charge foreign transaction fees, include a signup bonus worth a free flight after you spend a certain amount within the first few months of card membership, and more.

How to Get Revenued

Applying for Revenued is simple. Revenued doesn’t perform a hard pull on an applicant’s personal credit score, instead basing Flex Line limits on revenue – and not FICO alone. Once you apply, you’ll receive a funding decision in as little as an hour and have access to your funds within 24 hours.

Here are the minimum requirements for getting Revenued:

  • Businesses must operate in the U.S., must not be a start-up, and MUST have been in operation for at least six months
  • Businesses must have a separate bank account with $10,000 or more in deposits and no more than three negative balance days each month
  • Business must not be a sole proprietorship and must have employees
  • Business cannot be a financial services or law services company

Revenued Flex Line

Revenued Flex Line is a credit line provided by Revenued as an added feature of their Revenued Business Card. Despite its resemblance to a credit card, the Revenued Business Card is actually a type of merchant cash advance (MCA). When you make a purchase using the card, the amount you spend is repaid on a daily basis from your linked bank account based on your projected sales.

Like other credit lines, Revenued Flex Line allows you to withdraw cash in real-time, up to your spending limit. Once approved, the cash is deposited into your business bank account within 24 hours. This cash can be utilized for various business needs, such as enhancing cash flow, purchasing equipment, or increasing your purchasing power. Like with a business credit card, you must repay the amount you have used and pay interest on any remaining balance. Additionally, this opens up the opportunity to use the available credit again.

One of the advantages of Revenued Flex Line is that it does not impose any annual, monthly, or application fees. The approval for this credit line is based on the approval for the Revenued Business Card, which means there is no impact on your credit score due to a hard credit inquiry.

Flex Line limits are up to $100,000 and, as mentioned, are available within 24 hours of account opening. Keep in mind that Revenued does have purchasing limits on your card, however. For example, companies can spend a maximum of $10,000 per day and $50,000 per month. The maximum allowable single purchase on a card is $10,000.

What We Like About Revenued

Business cards for companies with no credit or limited credit history might seem like a very niche product with little bells and whistles, but there is plenty to like with the Revenue Business Card.

No Credit Check

The Revenued Card makes it simple for businesses to access credit. If your company lacks a credit profile, has an existing business checking account, and is looking to grow into larger lines of credit, Revenued might be just the ticket.

Approvals with Revenued are based on business revenue and cash flow through existing checking accounts, not credit scores. This feature makes the product and service accessible to a much wider range of companies. This, in turn, greatly increases future financing options and can quickly accelerate your business towards success.

Things to Consider

Before applying, consider all aspects of the Revenued Business Card, as not every feature will be perfect for your needs. Here are a few concerns with the card:

Flex Line

Although the Revenued Business Card has no annual fee or interest charges, you will still incur finance charges on your Flex Line funds, regardless of how quickly you pay off your purchases. This is because the Revenued Flex Line operates on a future sales financing model, which requires you to pay a fee based on your assigned factor rate and the amount of funding you utilize.

Because the Flex Line doesn’t require a credit check to open, the APR it charges may be higher than typical rates with other business cards from major banks. This increased rate could potentially lead to increased business debt.

Revenued Ratings

How does the Revenued Business Card stack up? Here is a selection of expert reviews for Revenued:

Should You Apply for the Revenued Business Card?

The Revenued Business Card with Flex Line is an interesting, compelling prepaid option for companies that want easy access to funds but not a hard credit check. Revenued’s Flex Line offers up to $100,000 in business capital, which provides quite a bit of spending oomph for businesses – without any additional fees.

One drawback with Revenued is the ability to build credit. Using the card will not build credit. Instead, the Flex Line needs to be used (and repaid) to boost business credit. Still, for those planning to access even more capital, that should be a fairly easy task.

Overall, the Revenued Business Card and Flex Line provide significant value for companies that meet the eligibility requirements. The Revenued Business Card offers many of the benefits of a commercial charge card, just without the interest and fees.
