Aeromexico Visa® Secured Card Review

Circumstances sometimes prevent people from having stellar credit, but the Aeromexico Visa® Secured Card helps cardholders build their credit and earn points redeemable for flights. In addition to the 3,500 bonus miles introductory offer travelers can earn double miles on gas and groceries, as well as one mile per $1 spent on eligible net purchases. Miles accrued through the Aeromexico Visa® Secured Card are applicable through Aeromexico or any other SkyTeam alliance carrier, including airlines such as Air France, Delta, and KLM Royal Dutch Airlines.

Acquiring the Aeromexico Visa® Secured Card requires applicants to print an application and mail a cashier’s check or money order ($300 minimum, $5,000 maximum) to serve as both the credit line and deposit in the event of default. The deposit will be used to open a U.S. Bank Secured Savings Account, and this account will earn interest as long as the cardholder is making regular payments and the account isn’t in default.
