The Chase Pay Yourself Back feature allows Chase’s cardholders to use points to offset select purchases. The program, introduced during the star of the COVID-19 pandemic, is now being extended through the start of 2022. Here are all the details on Chase extending the Pay Yourself Back program.
Chase Pay Yourself Back Program Extended Through Start of 2022
Chase has announced the new Pay Yourself Back® categories for eligible Ultimate Rewards credit cards. When redeemed for statement credits in applicable categories, the new categories offer up to 50% more value on Ultimate Rewards points. Previous Pay Yourself Back categories have included dining, groceries, home improvement purchases, charitable donations, and more.
The extended and new Pay Yourself Back categories include:
Chase Ink Business Cards
Chase Ink Business Preferred and Ink Plus cardmembers enjoy 25% more on eligible business expenses in eligible categories. These 25% more value categories include shipping, internet, cable, phone service providers, advertising purchases made with social media sites and search engines, and charitable donations. These bonus categories run through the end of the year (December 31, 2021).
Chase Ink Business Cash, and Ink Unlimited cardmembers enjoy 10% more value with Ultimate Rewards points through December 31, 2021, on internet, cable, and phone services, and 25% more value on eligible charitable contributions.
Chase Sapphire Personal Cards
Chase Sapphire Reserve cardmembers enjoy up to 50% more value when using points via Pay Yourself Back. Reserve cardmembers enjoy 50% more value on dining purchases and charities, plus new categories Airbnb and Away purchases through awaytravel.com.
Sapphire Preferred cardmembers enjoy 25% more value with Airbnb, plus Away through awaytravel.com. They will also enjoy 25% more value on charitable donations. Both Sapphire Preferred and Sapphire Reserve Pay Yourself Back categories run through March 30, 2022.
Freedom Personal Cards
The Chase Pay Yourself Back program also extends to Chase Freedom credit cards. Chase Freedom (no longer accepting new applicants), Freedom Unlimited, and Freedom Flex cardmembers get 25% more value for points when redeeming for donations to a dozen select charitable organizations. These bonus categories run through December 31, 2021.
